With over 250 locations and more than 9,000 examiners, we can administer a medical exam anywhere in the U.S. Each year we deliver more than 2.3 million medical exams and process about the same number of samples in our laboratory.

Portamedic, the largest and most profitable division of Hooper Holmes, is the country's leading provider of physical examinations, testing and personal health interviews conducted by experienced medical professionals. With a national network of 9,000 examiners, Portamedic can provide an examination at any U.S. address. These services are principally used by the life insurance industry and by the rapidly-growing health and wellness sector.

Sales Representative Overview:
The Field Sales Representative will work with current clients and develop new prospects. Clients and prospects include life and health insurance agents and financial advisors.

Sales Representative duties include:
  • A combination of phone and outside sales activity, typically 2 days per week are spent pre-qualifying prospects by phone and remainder spent on outside sales calls
  • The Field Sales Representative typically makes 4-5 presentations per month
  • Making cold calls on pre-qualified targets

    Compensation:
  • $35,000 - $40,000 Base Salary + Quarterly Incentives
  • Quarterly incentive is earned when exceeding revenue targets; top performing Field Sales representatives make $3,000 - $4,000 in quarterly incentives.
