Job Description

We are seeking a Planner/Scheduler for our facility which specializes in manufacturing and packaging of health and beauty aid products.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Planning and scheduling production, manpower, machine capabilities, material availability and forecasting customer requirements.

• Developing and prioritizing production schedules on a daily/weekly basis to meet company needs.

• Ensuring inventory levels are maintained to support materials and manufacturing.

• Making decisions and/or recommendations which will impact plant operations and performance.

• Interacting with internal and external departments regarding production progress and inventory.

• Coordinating implementation of engineering bill of materials changes.

• Supporting the company’s goals of meeting Safety, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

•       Bachelor’s degree with min (5) five plus years of ERP/MRP experience in Supply Chain Management.

•       Strong knowledge of material department operations, manufacturing processes and departmental relationships (forecasting and scheduling).

•       Excellent math and writing skills.

•       Must possess strong leadership and communication skills.

•       Must be a self starter and have the ability to multi-task.

•       Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required.

•       Proven problem resolution and organizational skills required.

•       High sense of urgency with ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

•       Strong pc skills (MS Office) with a strong knowledge and application of Excel spreadsheets.

•       APICS - CPIM certification a plus.
