Description
Rochelle Community Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital located in beautiful northern Illinois. Our mission: Strengthening health by excelling in care.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Financial Services Department. Demonstrates positive and effective skills in the following areas: human relations, leadership, and oral and written communication. Collects and prepares cost data, analyzes accounting and related systems, assists in the preparation of regulatory submissions, and is responsible for the preparation of various financial reports.
Requirements
1. Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in accounting or business administration.
2. Two (2) years experience required, in a hospital or other health care environment.
3. Must have a working knowledge of personal computers, including spread sheet applications and word processing.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of staff and the public.
5. Prior management experience preferred.
6. Experience with HMS accounting system a plus
