Quality Control Technician

We are a start up expansion of a successful food processing company and we have an opening for an hourly Quality Control Technician in Nashville. 

The position will be in a cooking operation so relevant skills are key such as:

• USDA/FDA/Third party audits as well as hands on daily responsibilities.

• Experience with GMP’s, SSOP’s as in the food plant history.

• Must have experience in the food manufacturing industry

• Daily responsibilities may include pre-op of sanitation, swabs, pulling micros, ongoing observation of GMP practices, pulling of samples for fat analysis, organoleptic testing, etc.

• Organizational skills needed with documentation.

• Communication, PC, written, verbal skills are critical for this key position.

• The successful candidate will have at least a HS degree: prefer other technical training as well. 

• Willingness to be flexible in this startup operation as well as teach and assist others is of high regard.

This is an active, on the floor, hands on position.  Our company is passionate about our team’s involvement in our success so personality type will be important to us.
