Middle School Principal – Grades 6-7-8
2010 - 2011
The Waukee Community School District is seeking Middle School Principal candidates. The successful candidate will open a new building, Waukee South Middle School, for the 2010-2011 school year, and lead a progressive middle school of 750+ students.
Requirements
Qualifications to include:
- Understanding of current research as it relates to the middle school learner, teaming, and implementation of professional learning communities
- Experience in data driven decision-making using state and local assessment data
- Collaborative leadership approach with strong communicative and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead change and manage transitions
- Demonstrated ability in developing professional relationships
- Previous middle school administrative experience preferred
