Achieving budgeted sales for a specific geographic region, sales plan development and execution, new business prospecting, sales strategy development, coaching and developing Territory and Key Account Manager’s, completing annual performance reviews, support ongoing associate training, develop and conduct customer business planning and reviews, analyzing sales reports and other relevant data, work closely with supplier/brokers, working closely with customer service, operations, purchasing, transportation and other support departments. This position is also responsible for controlling expenses and purchases placed on company credit cards.
Position calls for travel up to 2-3 times per week in the assigned area.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years consumer packaged goods sales experience
- Sales management experience
- Strong computer skills- Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Strong data analysis skills a must
- Natural/Organic channel selling experience a plus
- Reside within territory geography and close to a major airport
- Must possess a 4 year college degree
