Description
Blue Tip Operating (BTO) manages assets, an in-house operations and field management organization for Blue Tip Energy. Blue Tip Operating is seeking a full time Plant Supervisor for it's Gas Processing Facilities near Price, Utah.
This position offers the candidate an opportunity to be an essential part of a growing, dynamic, fast-paced, organization. The position will require plant operations as well as supervisory experience. BTO requires and rewards excellence. The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for directing all aspects of the day-to-day operation. Safety, plant reliability, productivity improvements, budget management and maintenance are vital areas of the Plant Supervisor role. All operations and maintenance personnel report to this position.
Key responsibilities for this position:
- To model and demonstrate managerial, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Manage at a superior level all Safety, Environmental, Quality and Health, Best Safety Practice compliance and process safety management.
- Support all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including personnel scheduling, troubleshooting plant process problems, directly supervising daily plant activities and driving special plant projects.
- Commit to and manage asset operational programs.
- Work with the operators and support resources to achieve productivity targets in all areas.
- Identify maintenance concerns, then develop and implement corrective / preventative measures.
- A strong commitment to employee involvement and team building.
- Interface with customer and company representatives and community leaders.
- Effective communication skills to coach and counsel employees for policy and procedural compliance are essential.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of oil and gas plant experience including pipeline operation, compression, amine plants, or NGL plants (Nitrogen and O2 plant experience a plus).
- Special consideration will be given to holders of current OSHA and MSHA certifications for working on the surface areas of underground mines.
- Ability to pass all applicable drug tests.
- A self-starter with proven leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated managerial leadership potential and proven interpersonal skills.
- Skill using PC-based word-processing, presentation, e-mail and/or spreadsheet software.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong references for personal integrity and character.
- Strong willingness to make and honor commitments.
