Description
  • Teaches tennis an average of 35 hours per week, including private lessons, junior programs, adult programs, and team drills.
  • Helps coordinate and run Round Robins, Adult Socials, Jr. Socials and Pro Exhibitions.
  • Attends all tennis staff meetings.
  • Completes pro payroll daily.
  • Maintains accurate class attendance records.
  • Fills classes and supervises programs as assigned.
  • Ensures that all students have paid for lessons before entering court.
  • Sells and promotes programs and private lessons as well as all other club programs.
  • Stays up to date with industry teaching developments and incorporates them into teaching. 
  • Helps maintain a clean and neat facility.
  • Follows lesson curriculum as determined by the Head Tennis Professional.
  • Teaches free new member lessons.
  • Promotes and sells Tennis Pro Shop items including Racquets, String, Grips, Bags, and other accessories.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
Requirements

  • Must be highly motivated

  • Proven teaching ability with adults and juniors

  • Professional tennis experience

  • USPTA certification

  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
