Description
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software quality assurance procedures that will support the testing and delivery of quality software applications. This includes reviewing use cases, developing test plans, devising test scenarios, creating test scripts, and testing project deliverables throughout the software development life cycle. Provide software QA activities on software development projects.
Participate in problem-solving processes for resolving end-user support issues, test feasibility of changes, and assess workflow impact, usability and style.
- Experience with Rationale toolset
- Ability to develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL test scripts
- Knowledge of database design
- Experience with SDLC
Requirements
Position requires good analytical skills, use of Rational tool suite, ability to write SQL and PL/SQL scripts, knowledge of database design. The position lends itself to someone with strong organizational, multi-tasking, team-work and communication skills.
Need at least 1 year of software testing experience.
