Job Description 



Protective’s Asset Protection Division offers its products and services through automobile, marine, RV and power sports dealers. Through these business partners, the Asset Protection Division offers consumers protection against unwanted losses they may experience after purchasing and financing major consumer assets such as automobiles, boats and recreational vehicles. Our products and services are superior and we need superior people to join our team!


Entering new business and cancellations into the premium processing system. Assist producers, agents, insureds and creditors with questions.


Responsibilities:


Percent

45% 1.Keying: Entering information from certificates and cancellations into the premium processing system.
40% 2.Customer Service: Assist insureds, creditors, producers and agents with questions and refund quotes. Assist Senior Credit Processing Specialists with obtaining missing information from certificates.
10% 3.Editing: Review and make necessary basic correction for contract processing.
 5%  4.Additional duties: Complete any new tasks, special assignments or functions assigned at any given time.

 

 


Job Requirements 


1 year experience in a clerical and customer service environment. Some experience required in MS Word and Excel. Must type a minimum of 60 wpm. Math aptitude required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.


Abilities:

Must have excellent customer service and organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to take direction from peers and management. Must possess ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Must be able to work independently as well as being a team player.


Contact with others:
 

40% of time is spent communicating with customers and agents via phone or fax. Daily interaction with in-house personnel. High level of interpersonal skills required.


Analytical ability required:


Ability to recognize problems with a certificate and place on hold for Senior Credit Processing Specialists.
