company overview

Everett Roehl started a lot more than a trucking company when he began operations in 1962 with a single truck. He began building a team of dedicated professionals as he guided the team that built Roehl Transport into one of our nation's 100 largest motor carriers. He insisted that the company be based on values and he modeled those values for every member of TeamRoehl to emulate. According to Everett, "What we're really delivering is confidence - that load is one less thing the customer needs to worry about. And satisfaction - the good feelings customers have when we meet their needs and expectations." Those words became building blocks for an industry leader and can still be found in our purpose statement that hangs on the wall in every Roehl location. Another poster that is frequently seen describes many of the values that are woven into the fabric of our company.

Today, Roehl Transport is still driven by the values that Everett modeled so long ago. From simple, personal life rules like honesty and integrity, to business basics like cost and quality consciousness, to our cornerstone value of safety, our values are reflected in our day-to-day operations.

47 years and still growing!

job description

Let the Power Of Red® start your great over-the-road driving career.

When you’re starting a new career, you want to know that you’ve made a good choice. In today's economic climate you want to be sure the company you’ve chosen is rock-solid. Join Roehl Transport, and be part of an industry-leading company that has been around for 47 years, is growing today and is investing in the future.

Roehl is currently hiring Akron, Ohio based over-the-road drivers for openings in our National Van and Flatbed Fleets. As a national fleet driver, you can earn $35,000 to $45,000 in your first year with Roehl (depending on years of experience).

In addition to competitive wages, Roehl positions feature an affordable, comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverages.

No tractor-trailer driving experience or no Class A Commercial Drivers License - no problem.

Roehl Driver Training Center (RDTC) can start you on your way to becoming a professional truck driver.
In just three weeks of training, you’ll be ready to test for a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)—the license you need to drive over-the-road semi-trucks and you can pre-qualify for a job with Roehl Transport even before you complete RDTC.  Please visit the Roehl Driver Training Center or GoRoehl.com for more information on driving for Roehl.

Roehl trains some of the safest, most effective and professional truck drivers in the nation.  You can learn more about the Roehl Driver Training Center at our website.
