We are looking for a Refurbishment Manager on our Development Team to be responsible for planning and managing all large capital refurbishment projects for the company. The area to be covered by this position is our entire business line area which includes Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Crete, Illinois and the Louisville, Kentucky areas.

  

Responsibilities for this position entail:
- Manages multiple large capital refurbishments projects and ensures daily work strategies.
- Establishes and implements appropriate resources and structured Project Plans to facilitate new builds and refurbishments.

- Consults with Projects Managers to establish requirements regarding facility layout, PC networking, furniture positioning, decoration specifications and related regulatory responsibilities.
- Acts as the first point of contact for contractors and any other outside consults and/or entities.
- Monitors and manages progress by contractors and facilitate and resolve any issues rising from the projects.
- Provides emergency assistance and 24/7 support to all project staff and contractors.

Requirements

-  The Refurbishment Manager must have previous working experience managing multiple construction and refurbishment projects simultaneously.

-  The candidate must possess estimating and budgeting experience.

-  Knowledge of maintenance, structural engineering, electrical design principles; architectural design and interior design principles applicable to building construction, maintenance and refurbishments operations.

-  Knowledge of construction codes and life safety codes.

-  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in health care or hospitality.
