Director of Surgical Services (Hospital System)

My client is one of the largest integrated health service delivery organizations in the Midwest.

Their system consists of multiple acute care hospitals and a joint venture affiliation with a reknown heart hospital. They were named a top Wisconsin employer for 2009. They have engaged our firm to help them locate top Surgical Services candidates who are looking for an opportunity to take their careers to a new level in a system with over 10 acute care hospitals and that employs over 12,000.

The Nurse Director coordinates all activities within the Surgical Services Department to include financial and operational resources. The Surgical Services Department areas of responsibility include the areas of Pre-Admission Test Center, Day Surgery, Operating Room and Recovery Room. EXPERIENCE with robotics a huge plus.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Current RN License in State of Wisconsin or eligible.
Masters Degree required. 3-5 years relevant leadership experience required. Experience in Perioperative leadership required, preferably at the Director level. Strong Manager candidates with larger hospital experience will be considered, especially with strong budgeting exposure.
