Position: Associate Account Executive



Job Purpose:Supports Account Executives with daily processing on new and existing VIP

accounts


Organizational Relationship:

Works in conjunction with Account Executives who in turn reports to Personal

Lines Manager. Interacts with Management, Production and Accounting

Departments as part of servicing function.


Job Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Review renewal & expiration reports for delinquencies

2. Check information both downloaded and manually entered on agency

management system for accuracy.

3. Process premium bearing endorsement requests

4. Quote changes to existing policies and re-rating

5. Prepare applications, binders, LPRs,

6. Prepare form letters as instructed by Account Executive

7. Accurately rate policies, enter agency invoices, notes and policy detail in

computer system. Prepare applications, binders, endorsement requests,

certificates of insurance, automobile ID cards, etc.

8. Check policies and endorsements. Inform Account Executives of any

discrepancies, errors, or omissions

9. Maintain follow-up system for open binders, renewals and endorsements

10. Pursue professional education and proficiency in automation skills.

11. Web-based quoting and processing with several carriers

12. Any other specific duties and projects as assigned by Account Executives or

Management.

Requirements

1. A college degree.

2. 3+ years Personal Lines experience

3. Well organized.

4. Excellent math skills.

5. Good written and oral communication skills.

6. Strong technical insurance and computer skills. Knowledge of AMS system a

plus.

7. Property & Casualty agents/brokers license required.
