IPD is a growing communications retailer company offering consumers and business services that range in areas such as: satellite, cable, internet, and computer services. We are looking to grow our commercial vertical which includes bars & restaurants, Multi Dual Unit (MDU) markets, hospitality, offices and professional buildings.  We are particularly looking for individual with knowledge/experience with specific group of ethnic businesses or individuals. Our Commercial Outside Sales / Business Development Representatives will be able to network, and really grow our markets throughout designated territories in Chicago and vicinity.

Responsibilities:

• Generating new clients by developing relationships, prospecting, networking, setting site surveys, and selling to new and existing customers
• Selling IPD’s portfolio of products and services to new and existing commercial businesses,  utilizing new and existing contacts and networks
• Creating proposals and work with existing management team to meet prospective client’s needs within established guidelines
• Maintaining required record keeping and reporting of all sales activities (written and computerized) and attending sales meetings to stay abreast of current products, rates, services and sales techniques.
• Position requires outside sales appointments and trade shows

Incentives

• Our Commercial Outside Sales / Business Development Representatives are paid 100% commission. In some cases, there is an opportunity to combine a base salary and high set of commission based on the applicant’s track record, education and desire to grow.  Successful sales professionals can expect to earn between $39,000 and $52,000 annually depending upon your skill and desire.

Commercial Outside Sales / Business Development Representative 

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Must have proven sales results and ability to meet goals.
• Professional with strong written, verbal, and listening skills
• Capable and motivated to build relationships
• Personable with ability to cold call and develop sales
• Must have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license, good driving record and be insurable
• Bilingual & Multicultural: Ability to speak and interact in a multicultural environment is a plus.
