G&B Solutions, Inc. has an opportunity for a Network Operations Manager in Boston, MA:
- Provide high-level network operations support, including but not limited to monitoring and optimizing network, server and PC performance; installing and configuring routers, switches, hubs and other approved network devices; and supporting connectivity to other networks, i.e., the headquarters LAN in Washington, DC.
- Plan, coordinate and direct on-site service-related activities; monitor the flow of requests for service to insure that problems are prioritized appropriately and resolved promptly; monitor C staff’s progress in completing service calls; resolve problems that may arise in completing a service call.
- Lead approved technology deployments and network expansions/upgrades, insuring that on-site staff follows documented procedures.
- Oversee the technical work of the System Administrator(s) and Information Technician(s), providing the necessary guidance and leadership
- Perform all of the duties of the System Network Administrators.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience similar to the job duties described.
