Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspect of the apartment community meets company standards and applicable laws. The Maintenance Technician will diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work such as fitting doors, freeing windows, sanding and refining doors, replacing molding and other work orders
- Make-ready vacant units as required including trash removal, repairs, cleaning carpet
- Maintain grounds and common areas including picking up trash, sweeping sidewalks/driveways, watering trees and shrubs, cleaning offices, hallways restrooms, lounges, etc.
- Shoveling snow from walks and driveways as well as spreading salt to prevent ice build up
- Must be on call 24/7 in event of snow and/or other site emergencies
Maintenance Technician
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year related experience and/or training
- HVAC certification a plus
