Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor at our warehouse located in Carlstadt, NJ.



The Warehouse Supervisor will assist in managing operations that receive product, ensure orders are selected, packaged, loaded, and dispatched safely and delivered to customers in a timely, efficient, and economical fashion.  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):



  • Conduct physical inventory counts/cycle counts and perform inventory reconciliation functions.
  • Oversee warehouse productivity and facility layout optimization.
  • Review work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments.  Prepare and maintain necessary records and reports.
  • Managing inbound and outbound shipments and scheduling.
  • Monitor warehouse fill rates.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment compliant with government regulations and Company safety policies, procedures, and directives.
 

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following requirements/qualifications:

  • Associate degree.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years warehouse management/supervisory experience in a fast-paced, challenging and demanding environment.
  • Strong computer competencies.
  • Shipping/receiving experience.
  • Creative problem resolution skills.
  • Planning/coordinating experience.
  • Inventory management and productivity management experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WMS (Work Management System).

Must have food industry experience
