Description
Job Summary: The focus of the Sales Director is to oversee the sales team. This person is responsible for establishing customer service standards and recommending service best practices for the Sales team. This person will train, motivate and coach the team towards excellence in all support areas for the Outside Agents. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced manager from either the hospitality or the merchant services field, who has a proven track record motivating front line employees to deliver world-class customer service.
Responsibilities to Include:
· Oversee all customer service efforts provided to Outside Agents and implement necessary improvements;
· Conduct team training in areas of service process improvements;
· Coach manager and team leads in call coaching and mentoring;
· Create Best Practices in all areas of service and ensure all team members are adhering to new guidelines;
· Answer direct emails/phone calls;
· Ensure all escalated sales agent calls are handled by new service standards;
· Call monitoring to ensure support associates are within quality targets;
· Any other assigned work/projects as provided by senior management.
Requirements
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field required
Position Requirements:
· 3-5 years merchant services industry leader as a manager, recruitier and mentor
· Knowledge of the merchant services industry a plus
· Exceptional communication skills required, both oral and written
· Exceptional diplomacy skills a must
· Strong computer skills, MS Office
· Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
· Grace under pressure
