Tool & Die Design Engineer in Moberly, Missouri, located about a hour drive from Columbia.
Our customer is a private company specializing in cans, composite: foil-fiber and other products from purchased fiber. It produces Fiber Cans, Drums, and Similar Products such as Fiber Cans, Tubes, Drums, and Similar Products. The position is permanent position.
Description:
- This person will wear multiple hats.
- Needs to be a good design engineer & a good operations person because as soon as this person releases the model to production, he/she needs to schedule & drive the product through layup and autoclave to a completed part or assembly.
- This will be someone who has worked at a composite shop before and needs to be one that supported aerospace as the tolerances are much tighter than most other industries.
- Emphasis on design capabilities (Unigraphics is the primary CAD tool) and Operations.
