Yoh Scientific has a contract opening for a Clinical Supplies Distribution Planner in the South Plainfield, NJ area.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for: • effective coordination, processing, and tracking of clinical material shipment requests for global clinical trials • resolving shipment queries • inventory and expiration date management across clinical investigator sites and 4 depots (Belgium, Wales, US and 1 additional location) • generation of shipping strategies and schedules for coordinating supply and demand parameters as required. • establishing and maintaining communications with clinical, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, global depots and investigator sites • assist and provide input for process improvement, shipment and inventory tracking
- Understanding of clinical product supply and order requirements
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills, problem solving skills, with ability to anticipate problems, recommend solutions, and implement
- Someone with a degree in Pharmacy or Nursing would be ideal as candidates as the successful candidate will need to understand how each of the 15 clinical trials we have underway at the present time are run (not a great deal of volume, but a lot of details that need to be managed concurrently).
- Candidates should have experience shipping clinical supplies to both domestic and international locations and understand the differences in the required shipping documentation.
