Description Business Development Manager

Our client is a global leader in Life Sciences. 

This position will focus on buildng business in the U.S. for their Biomedical Division.  The individual will promote innovative materials and technologies for use in medical devices.  Specifically, technologies and medical fibers for use in the orthopedic marketplace as well as sports medicine and cardiovascular applications.

Responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy as well as building and maintaining sustainable relationships with key clients.  Also, developing proposals in response to identified client needs, overseeing the delivery of services and monitoring the value achieved for customers.

This position requires a consultative approach and a strong focus on business development.  We are looking for someone who likes to be active in a business to business market and has at least five years sales experience to medical device and OEM companies.  Experience in the area of orthopedic medical devices, sports medicine or sutures would be prefered.  Technical understanding and affinity with medical technology is also important.

Requirements Minimum of a bachelors degree with experience working with  technologies or services for the medical device industry.
