Job Description
  • Develop methods and processes for gathering, updating, and maintaining corporate information such as proposal archive, past performance, capabilities statements, staff and consultant resumes, marketing materials, and website content.
  • Support proposal efforts by serving various roles, including recruiting, drafting sections of proposal, liaising with partners, developing and collecting data calls.
  • Manages and coordinates proposal efforts. Shred RFPs.
  • Create and manage proposal schedules and timelines.
  • Work with staff to ensure schedules and deliverables are achieved.
  • Lead the proposal production process.
  • Interprets technical information and adapts it to a general readership and proposal/sales language.
  • Plans, reviews, writes, edits, and oversees production of business development-related documents such as proposals, capabilities/qualifications statements, staffing, resumes, and past performance.
  • Oversees preparation and organization of proposal artifacts such as illustrations, photographs, diagrams, and charts.
Assist the Director of Corporate Development with the following tasks:

  • Conduct market research and analysis.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis.
  • Support the development and implementation of capture plans.
  • Attend conferences and tradeshows as required.
  • Design and develop presentations and customized marketing materials.
  • Prepare quarterly/annual business development reports and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
The position requires a BA/BS in communications, marketing, liberal arts, or related discipline and a minimum of 4 years experience writing and editing for a professional services firm; minimum of 4 years experience managing and coordinating proposals and marketing documentation. Candidates must have strong grammar and writing skills, including proofreading and the ability to communicate well with management, team, and client. Must be a flexible team player capable of working in a group environment or independently. Applicants must be detail oriented, possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to work under tight deadlines. Must have Strong project management and superior customer service skills.   Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
