Job Description 

This position is responsible for providing administrative decision making, leadership and strategic planning including the efficient and productive use of personnel, material and financial resources for all statewide owned, managed and affiliated facilities. Establishes policy and direction (programs and services) for department, and is accountable for department results. This position is also responsible for the efficient and purposeful integration of services (supplies, linen and equipment distribution) with other areas and emerging delivery systems. Incumbent makes recommendations for system and process improvements and implements changes. Supports and collaborates with statewide facilities on business process redesign (people and process). Promotes and communicates direct expense reduction, cost effectiveness, and the responsible use of resources through the deployment of best in class Supply Chain methods and strategies. Enhances Clarian's reputation in the marketplace as a unified organization that delivers committed purchase volume and a high level of contract compliance in exchange for aggressive contract pricing, terms and conditions. Supports expense reduction initiatives and serves as a liaison to provide centralized contracting and support services. Networks knowledge and resources of local entities to assist with problem solving, quality improvement, and cost reduction efforts across the system. Prepares and distributes regular reports documenting return on investment and value received by Clarian affiliates. Accountable for driving preeminence throughout the assigned areas. Preeminence is being acknowledged as a leader in quality, clinical care, education and research by your peers. Acts as a partner of the Clarion leadership team and participates in the strategic planning and the attainment of goals for area of responsibility

Job Requirements 

 

    • Requires Bachelors degree, Masters Degree preferred; Requires minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare management.
    • Requires knowledge of business applications with experience in logistics or inventory management.
    • Requires superior people management and leadership competencies with proven problem resolution and facilitation skills.
    • Requires a blend of management skills with technical expertise proven by superior planning, decision-making, negotiation, leadership and financial management skills/knowledge with a focus to adding value to the bottom line of the business fostering a preeminent healthcare environment.
    • Requires demonstrated leadership skills (inspiring, problem solving, communication across multiple organizations, executing).
    • Requires strong communication and relationship-building skills with all levels of employees and management.
    • Requires experience managing multiple complex projects involving multiple customers.
    • Requires the ability and skill sets to champion Leading to Preeminence.
    • Requires interpersonal; negotiation, including problem solving and analytical skills, and presentation skills; with the ability to lead groups and programs.
    • Requires the ability to pioneer effective quality improvement initiatives that reflect on the corporate scorecard.
    • Requires experience preparing and adhering to Service Level Agreements with stakeholders/customers.
    • Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines relative to assigned area.
    • Requires the ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
    • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Requires ability to communicate sensitive issues with all levels of employees/management.
    • Requires strong customer service skills.
    • Requires the ability to take initiative and meet set objectives.
