PeopleSoft Project Manager

We have an immediate opening in our Chicago office for a PeopleSoft Project Manager (Project Employee)

Candidates MUST have deep functional knowledge of the PeopleSoft Financials product suite as well as multiple experiences implementing PeopleSoft Financials.

Responsibilities:

• Consults with management and reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.

• Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources to support highly complex information technology projects.

• Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel including assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.

• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules and plans as required.

• Prepares project status reports and keeps management and others informed of project status and related issues.

• Confers with project personnel to resolve issues.

• Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.

• Coordinates project activities with business teams to ensure goals and requirements are met.

• Coordinates integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

• 8-10 years of  strong PeopleSoft Project Management Experience

• Bachelors Degree preferred

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong understanding of standard development methodologies(System Development Life-cycle).

• Minimum of 4 years of current, hands-on PeopleSoft Financials experience
  (PeopleSoft version 8.9 or 9.0 experience required)

• Designation as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred
