We provide regulatory and strategic consulting such as community needs assessments, valuations and strategic plans, to some of the largest hospitals and healthcare companies in the world. Requirements

Key Qualifications
 

  • 1 to 3 Years of business valuation experience in addition to any of the following expericene: healthcare financial analysis, healthcare financial services, or medical staff planning and development • Previous Healthcare consulting experience preferred
  • Experience in a professional services or healthcare firm preferred
  • Progressively working on valuation credentialing
  • Experience with analytical problem solving
  • Ability to understand the details of complex valuation scenarios
  • Experience analyzing financial statements and building financial models in Excel
  • Experience using financial valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow models
  • Self motivated and proactive
  • Very detailed and task oriented
  • Possess broad based accounting, financial and valuation skills
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel
  • Possess strong integrity and professionalism
  • Self-directed with the ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong sense of urgency • Ability to work in fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work with and meet multiple tight deadlines and honor commitments
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact effectively in a small team environment

 
Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze contracts, financial data and other data necessary to support valuation analyses
  • Expedite and complete a wide array of on-going projects related to regulatory and strategic planning; such as Community Needs Assessments, Medical Staff Demand Analysis, Physician and Hospital Analyses and comprehensive Strategic Plans
  • Create, generate and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports as required
  • Identify trends, anomalies and formulate conclusions
  • Develop track record of delivering perfect and on-time projects
  • Prepare and format comprehensive written reports using various Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Maintain organized work and post-engagement files
  • Quickly learn and understand the regulatory issues impacting healthcare
  • Stay abreast of healthcare regulations
  • Perform routine office functions necessary for the delivery of work product
