This position exists to support the department through research and development of staff training programs. Implements, and evaluates, in coordination with quality improvement processes, by consulting with department leadership. The incumbent provides training by conducting workshops, classes, conferences, and monthly inservice education programs to meet the needs of the department. Tracks and evaluates program outcomes and improves curriculum as needed.
Requires previous training experience.
Training experience in a healthcare setting STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Previous training/use of Cerner is STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Associates or Bachelors Degree STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Requires knowledge of designing; developing; implementing; and evaluating new and existing development programs for staff development.
Requires ability to conduct workshops; classes; conferences; and monthly inservice education programs.
Requires ability to evaluate staff development programs.
Requires knowledge of requirements of applicable regulatory agencies.
Requires ability to provide excellent customer service.
Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Requires critical thinking skills.
Requires ability to work independently and work as a team member.
