RN/LPN NURSE HOME HEALTH - PEDIATRIC AND ADULT

• Home care nursing is a fast-growing professional career of compassionate, one-on-one nursing care provided in the home setting.  Many patients are being discharged from the hospital earlier increasing the demand for quality nursing care in lieu of the patient being hospitalized. 

• Our patient population can range between pediatric to adult patients.  Many have ventilators or trachs. 

• Our nurses are matched with the appropriate patient based on the nurses’ competency assessment, geographical area the nurse is available to travel to treat the home bound patient and the needs of the patient.     

• Nurses’ providing home care is a rewarding career, and can provide the opportunity for flexibility in the work schedule.  RNs and LPNs can work a few days a week, days, nights or weekends or take on cases on more of a full time schedule. 
• Home Staff, Inc., provides private duty nurses for the home based patient.  Shifts are generally 10 - 12 hour day or night.

• If you are an experienced nurse and would like to use your critical thinking skills, we are looking for you.  Nurses must have the experience obtained in the hospital setting and the ability to translate those same skills into the home environment.  

1. Current Illinois state license to practice as an RN or LPN

2. At least 2 years nursing experience, preferably in the hospital setting, nursing home or home health environment.

3. Recent negative TB test and physician cleared physical required for employment.

4. Excellent attendance record and communication skills.

5. Nurses must have experience and the ability to translate those nursing skills into the home environment.

6. Able to attend and complete home health training offered by the company.

7. Nurses are paid per hour worked based on payor of case

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR...

• At present, we are seeking LPNs and RNs to cover our service area, from Indiana border to the Wisconsin border within the general Chicagoland region. 
• Nurses assignments are given based on their general location.
