Associate Sales Representative
Our office in Henderson, NV is seeking enthusiastic Sales Representatives. The position involves converting advertising, direct mail and other leads into new business by handling countrywide telephone calls. Candidates must be able to meet individual and department objectives and apply sales skills while soliciting and cross selling all personal lines of insurance.
Candidates should have previous sales or service experience, a professional telephone manner, and the ability to work well with others. Employees will be required to obtain a state insurance license and meet continuing education requirements. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work schedule. The flexibility to work non-standard hours Monday through Friday between the hours of 1:30PM and 10:30 PM and on the weekends (Saturday/Sunday) from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM is required. The hire date for these positions is scheduled for the end of January, 2010.
The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and computer keyboard skills (35 wpm) as well as letter writing and computer processing. Previous insurance sales background is a plus. Comprehensive training is provided.
