Job Duties:

• Must possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
  
• Must have caring attitude with ability to work harmoniously with physicians, nurses, residents, administration, and general public.
  
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
  
• Maintaining the care and use of supplies, equipment, facility, etc., and maintaining the appearance of the nursing areas, residents rooms, regular inspection of resident’s rooms for sanitation, order and safety.
  
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
  
• Possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.

• Must be certified or pending certification
• reliable, hardworker and dependable
  • Previous Long Term Care preferred , NOT required.
