Electrical Design Engineer - Microwave / RF Experience Required

We have an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer with Microwave / RF experience.

• The Electrical Design Engineer will work in the Product Engineering department developing electronic microwave and RF equipment.

Required Experience
Experience must include 5 or more years of digital hardware design and educational background must include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Digital hardware design
• Low frequency analog circuit design
• Unit level product design
• Ability to design and analyze digital and analog circuits
• Selection of appropriate components
• Development of schematics using OrCad
• Board layout
• Development of parts lists
• Ability to complete documentation package including test procedures and instruction manuals
• Unit-level product design experience including selecting power supplies and producing wiring harness drawings
• Ability to test and troubleshoot all designs in support of manufacturing and system integration

Additional Desirable Skills

• Background in feedback control systems
• Ability to design and analyze a control loop, and select motor and feedback components
• Ability to perform embedded software design in support of implementing a control loop
• Proficiency in FPGA coding combined with strong digital design
• Experience with the design and integration of RF circuits, RF subsystem design, Digital Signal Processing, and microwave components
