We seek a sales and service professional with a strong technical/mechanical aptitude to help us continue this tradition of excellence in the role of


Technical Support - Service/Sales

 

In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support to the sales and service functions while providing ongoing customer support in a courteous and efficient manner. 

Responsibilities include:        
  • Advising customers on equipment suitable to specific application specifications·        
  • Discussing use of equipment in various applications·        
  • Reading catalog or computer for equipment specifications·        
  • Understanding engineering drawings to determine equipment specifications·        
  • Ability to research, cross reference, analyze and expedite orders and technical questions·        
  • Cross training with product support personnel·        
  • Advising customer on technical support for equipment·        
  • Assisting with service and/or sales training (both in-house and in-field)·        
  • Some travel may be required
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Applied Engineering, or similar field required.  Candidates should include GPA on their resume and will be required to submit transcripts at time of interview.
  • 2 – 3 years related experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with a sense of urgency.
  • Prior experience in a customer contact role with technical support responsibilities strongly preferred.
  • Must have a strong technical aptitude and possess the ability to gain detailed knowledge of all Highway Equipment products, programs, policies and procedures.
  • Experience, training, or other exposure to agriculture-related concepts and practices is highly desirable.
