Inside Sales Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW:   

•  Development of profitable dataSPAN sales business  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Prospect for new customers
• Cultivate relationships with existing customers
• Considerable time on the phone and email
• Promote and sell in a moral, ethical and legal manner
• Work to effectively source, quote, sell, deliver and invoice dataSPAN products and services
• Diligent efforts in collection of sales accounts receivables
• Cross-sell all product and service types
• Attend various scheduled training sessions, end user events and company meetings

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Inside Sales techniques, tools and methodology
• Strong presentation skills; both written and verbal
• Experience in IT/Data Processing/Data Storage industry
• Detail oriented to complete sales administration tasks
• Working knowledge of desktop applications and CRM tools
• Familiar with customer buying trends and basic marketing concepts
• Demonstrate analytical negotiating and problem-solving skills

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma
• 3 years sales experience, preferably in related industry
• Continued education independently and through company sponsored events
