Park Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Lexington Park, MD is looking for a Lead Sales Manager. We are a Dodge Chrysler and Jeep Genesis store located in a high growth area. We have an excellent new and pre-owned vehicle market. We just need a strong sales leader to take control of our sales operations and lead us to reach our sales and profit potential!
The ideal candidate is a “hands-on" manager with a used car focus and at least 3 years of proven sales leadership and management experience. You must be a strong leader with a great work ethic and be must be profit & volume oriented. Your experience must include: new & pre-owned sales, recruiting, motivating & training sales teams, implementing processes, internet sales experience & verifiable CSI. As the Lead Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development and training of the sales force, managing and enforcing proven sales and follow-up processes, maximizing F&I profits and growing our sales and profits.
We are open to new ideas, but we need someone who is comfortable implementing the plans and processes we already have in place. This is a “hands-on" position. You must enjoy desking deals, working with F&I, and managing the sales force from the Sales Desk. This position is located in Southern Maryland in a high growth area. This is a beautiful area and is a great place to raise a family. All inquires will be held in strict confidence.
Once hired, you will be expected to:
- Forecast daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales volume and gross profit goals and objectives
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel all of the sales staff
- Implement and manage activities and processes to have our sales team consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly vehicle sales volume and gross profit objectives
- Assist individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals
- Assist sales staff in all sales efforts and closing deals
- Track all customers and ensure all leads are logged using our CRM system
- Ensure customer retention by hiring, developing and training our sales staff to be customer-focused.
- Monitor customer satisfaction ratings for the department and ensuring proper follow-up for all potential buyers by developing, implementing and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system.
- Display and maintain new and pre-owned vehicle inventory. Review inventory daily to ensure the proper mix of stock for maximum turnover efficiency.
- Provide effective communication throughout the new and used vehicle department as well as inter-departmentally.
- Understand and keep abreast of federal, state and local regulations that affect new and used vehicle sales and ensure dealership compliance
