Project Engineer

Description PROJECT / MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
.
• BSME with manufacturing engineering experience in the mechanical fabrication of detailed parts and sub-assemblies, within an aerospace or industrial environment.
• Plans, organizes, and controls the direction of projects by utilizing sound engineering judgment combined with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Establish with the client, measurable and mutually agreed project objectives.  
• Develop master plans for executing and controlling projects.
• Review project deliverables, schedules and procedures regularly. Report on deviations and progress of developed plans
• Proficient with production problem solving, planning improvements, standardization of plans.
• Experience in non-recurring and recurring production and repair engineering activities (planning, tool design concepts, conventional machining, special processes and liaison support).
• Ability to define tooling concepts that will meet engineering requirements at the component and assembly levels.
• A self-starter able to work with minimal guidance. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows applications.

Requirements This is a contract assignment for Belcan with a customer in Schenectady, New York. Prefer gas or steam turbines experience
