Clinical Research Nurse

Job Duties:

Functions as the lead Study Manager, directing, supporting and guiding study team members to ensure that study delivery is on time, within budget and meeting client specifications.  Collaborates with the Site Manager to assure proper operational execution of assigned clinical trials.  Manages multiple studies within a specific therapeutic area.  Supervises the clinical team working on the projects to include development, coaching and mentoring.   Demonstrates excellence in innovative project management to include resource planning, meeting project timelines and effective budget utilization.  Assists in writing protocols, informed consents, subject instructions, and CRFs.  Interacts with cross-functional teams including clinical study teams, IRB, data management/stats, quality control, CRO services, patient recruiting, and outside vendors.  Monitors study in-life, identifying and resolving study issues, deviations, and the impact on study execution.   Must be available to work flexible hours to meet study needs.

Qualifications:  

• BSc or BA required. 
• Registered Nurse
• CCRC certified with five years relevant clinical research experience.  
• Excellent understanding of clinical trial methodologies; working knowledge of drug development; experience in budgeting, resource allocation, technical writing, client/sponsor contact, and supervision required.
