Description

ColomerUSA, Inc., a full-service manufacturer & distributor of quality salon & spa products with brands that include: American Crew, MOP, CND, ROUX, ABBA, Revlon Realistic, and Creme of Nature, is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager for its Salon Division located in Denver, CO.


Purpose Statement
:  Increase sales profitability by creating linkage between Marketing and Sales by applying Marketing Strategies and programs to the distribution channels.

 

 

Core Responsibilities:   (not intended to be all inclusive)

·        Develop annual trade promotion plans, including analysis of market conditions and resulting recommendations

·        Develop customer specific plans based on strategic plan and budgeted funding

·        Assess account/sales team initiated concepts and ideas for fit with brand strategy, costs, feasibility, and timing

·        Conduct in-depth pre and post promotional ROI analysis to project and identify events that drive the best ROI on trade fund investments

·        Create sales tools - presentations, IRI, sales, and consumer data, price lists, pre-sell agreements, sell sheets, trade show support materials, communication of PR, place advertisements, and artwork and trade show requests

·        Provide leadership for achievement of strategic initiatives through a high performing Trade Marketing function

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·        Strong knowledge of trade marketing principals, practices and procedures

·        Strong knowledge of retail and chain environment

·        Strong knowledge of industry competitors and trends

·        Knowledge of field sales and trade marketing functions

·        Strong skills in market research and analysis

·        Strong project management skills

·        Advanced word processing, spreadsheet and presentation skills

·        Strong skills in developing and delivering effective presentations

·        Ability to incorporate financial measures in assessing results

·        Ability to interpret financial analysis to make financially sound business decisions

·        Ability to direct, plan, organize, assign, review and evaluate the work of subordinates

·        Ability to make effective and efficient use of financial resources to achieve objectives

·        Ability to persuade, influence and impact others

Requirements

·        BA/BS in Marketing or related degree preferred

·        3-5 years trade marketing management, field sales or marketing experience in non-durable consumer goods industry

·        Professional beauty product experience preferred

·        Advanced level skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software

·        Supervisory experience preferred

 

Work Environment:

Work is performed primarily in an office environment with significant travel visits to trade shows.

Salary:                           Commensurate with experience.  Full benefits pkg.
