FULL TIME POSITIONS

DES MOINES FAMILY LOOKING FOR SPECIAL SOMEONE TO BE A PART OF COLE'S LIFE
Cole is 19 months old and is a happy child who likes to play especially outside. He is a big sleeper and usually sleeps until 9 am or so in the morning and takes at least a three hour nap in the afternoon. He is rarely grumpy, and if he is he likely needs to be put down for a nap. I think because he is such a good sleeper he is happy. The parents are very relaxed and create a very loving environment.  Monday - Thursday 7:45-6:30 (Wednesday's sometimes 5:30). Fridays are negotiable, would like approximately 2 hours but does not have to be every week.  
Salary %400 per week - negotiable. Flexible start date.      




ANKENY FAMILY LOOKING FOR A LOVING NANNY FOR THEIR TWIN 2 YEAR OLDS
Sarah and Luke are two years old and full of fun. They are excited about learning all about
their surroundings and love to smile and laugh. The parents are active people who love spending time with their family and friends. Their enjoy having a close relationship with their childcare provider and value and respect her as a team player. They are looking for someone with a love of children who is active and enjoys engaging with the children in fun activities. The hours are 7-4:30 Monday - Friday and pays $450 per week. Starting date is flexible. Somewhere around end of November - first part of December. 

FAMILY BUILDING A HOME IN NORWALK WITH TWIN BOYS LOOKING FOR NANNY/HOUSEMANAGER

Zach and Nick are one and a half years old and full of fun. They are learning and exploring their world  and loving it. They love to be read to, play with their toys and love going outside for some play time. The family currently lives in Pleasant Hill. Their new home should be ready to move into sometime this spring in March or April. The hours are Monday - Friday 8-6 pm. Salary is $500 per week. Family owns their own business (mother is a stay at home mom) so they would consider offering health insurance for the right candidate. Parents are healthy eaters so need someone who is comfortable with providing healthy cooking for family. (Father still enjoys his burgers and fries occasionally but overall try to stick with healthy options.) Start date mid  - November - December range.

URBANDALE FAMILY LOOKING FOR A GREAT NANNY STARTING DECEMBER 1st - PART  TIME HOURS (20 OR SO) FOR NOVEMBER IF DESIRED
Griffin is 27 months old and loves to play outside, explore the outdoors, read books and run around. He is an energetic and happy boy and enjoys running errands with the nanny. He loves going to the library and to the YMCA, lots of playgrounds and story time at the mall. Griffin

just became a big brother September 9th and is very proud of the new little addition. The parents are very easy going, keep a clean house and have a pretty routine/stable daily lifestyle. They enjoy the outdoors, running, walking, crafts like woodworking and gardening. They generally have healthy lifestyles, including well balance meals, minimal "junk food" and exercise.    The hours are 7:30-5 pm Monday - Friday. $450-500 per week. The family also offers 3-5 weeks paid vacation.

ANKENY FAMILY LOOKING FOR SPECIAL SOMEONE FOR THEIR TWO PRESCHOOLERS

Luke is 5 years old and is a very sweet and loving boy. Loves to be outside. He enjoys being read to and learning. He is tenderhearted and is perceptive to how others are feeling. He likes consistency and routine. He is respectful of others and does as asked. Lauren is 3 years old. Lauren has a big personality! She keeps us laughing with the funny things she says and dos. She enjoys keeping up with her big brother and very interested in "helping" with whatever we are working on. She wakes up with a smile on her face. She loves interacting with people and is similar to Luke in that she is easy going. The hours are Monday - Friday 7:30-5 pm Salary is $400-500 per week.    

ANKENY FAMILY WITH TWIN LITTLE BOYS
Hudson and Harper are three months old and were born 5 weeks early. They are very happy and healthy babies that enjoy doing what most infants do - eat and sleep! They love interaction with us and observing their surroundings. Parents are fun and energetic. Laid back - they enjoy music, movies, watching Hawkeyes and Steelers and entertaining. Looking for honest, close and friendly relationship.  Monday - Friday 8-5 pm. Starts January 4th - $450 per week.  

 JOHNSTON FAMILY WITH TWO LITTLE BOYS LOOKING FOR FUN PLAYMATE!

Dru is 4 1/2 years old  and will be 5 years in September. He loves cars, trucks, farm equipment - anything John Deere, construction vehicles, etc. He likes to be outside and playing. He loves books - and being read to. Going to the park and library is a big highlight for Dru. Rian is almost 2 years old and is a pretty happy go lucky type of guy. He just goes with the flow of whatever everyone else is doing. Hie is a good eater and very healthy.  The family is looking for someone patient, low key, loving , mature and creative. The mother is a single mother with a demanding job. The hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 pm  A key quality is flexibility and dependability.  Because the mother does not have family in town, and due to her upper management position, occasionally the mother would need to be able to have someone who could stay a little late 30-45 minutes a couple of times a year. Salary is $500 per week.  Would be willing to contribute to a portion of health insurance   Starts end of  November - mid December.   

WEST DES MOINES FAMILY WITH THREE ADORABLE LITTLE ONES

Madeline is 5 years old. She is sensitive, shy, and loves attention. Bella is 2 1/2 years old. She is daring, loves to color, very smart and loves the outdoors. Samantha is 1 year old and is a happy to go lucky little one who is laid back.  The family is laid back,  and really enjoys spending a lot of one on one time together reading books, going to the park, playing games, etc. Looking for a gentle, loving, educated. compassionate person who would love to spend her work days playing, stimulating and teaching three little girls. Good basic knowledge of nutrition and cooking for the girls is a needed quality. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 pm. Start date - 3 week notice once they find the right match.  $400 per week.         

PART TIME FAMILIES

TEMPORARY PART TIME - THREE DAYS A WEEK -  DECEMBER & JANUARY
Kassidy is six years old and is a sweet, fairly easy going girl. She plays by herself well, but also enjoys playing with Colton and having playdates. While not in school, she enjoys being outside, riding her bike, playing with dolls, crafts, books and computer games. Colton is two years old and is a pretty typical 2 1/2 year old. He has a lot of energy and enjoys playing with Kassidy and any of her friends that come over. He also enjoys storytime and other classes at the library and playing with his trains and cars. The hours are Tuesday - Thursday 7:30-5:30 pm. Would be a plus if someone could be flexible to work an occasional Monday if needed. $10.00 per hour or $300 per week for three day week. Starts December 1st through end of January while current nanny is on maternity.     




BUSY DES MOINES FAMILY LOOKING FOR 15-20 HOURS PER WEEK - CAN BE FLEXIBLE
Asher is 5 years old and Liam is 2 years old. Both are very talkative and active, love dinosaurs, computers, and art projects and anything outside. Indy is 4 years old and is developmentally delayed but very outgoing/communicative. Likes playing with siblings, books, and anything outside. Miles is six months old and is their easier going baby by far. The family is fairly busy given that their are four children under the age of five, but the overall household is fairly laid back. Mother is a physician and fairly outgoing. The father is the head pastor at a Presbyterian church and is working also on his MBA. He is also stay at home dad who is a good juggler and loves being a great part of their children's lives. They can be flexible with hours and have had two really great relationships with past nannies who have become part of the family. $14-15 per hour. Salary based on nannies needs for hours. Paid vacation 2-3 weeks per year. Start date January 4th, with some orientation in December with current nanny.    




DES MOINES FAMILY WITH TWO CHILDREN LOOKING FOR 3 MONTH PART TIME NANNY
Austin is 5 years old and is shy on first meeting a new person but warms up quickly. He is very smart and has grown to become an "independent thinker". His favorite topics are space, dinosaurs, Star Wars (although he has never been allowed to watch the movies). His favorite toy is his Lego collection. He loves to create and build with them. Everett is 2 months old and also a very good eater. His favorite place to fall asleep and remain asleep is in any arm! We are trying to break him of this habit and he is a loving baby. Both parents are physician's. The nannies hours would work around the mother's who is a Neonatologist (newborn specialist) and will work part time. Hours are 15-30 hours a week. Schedule is given out by hospital a month at a time. Mother can have some requests for certain schedule times. $10-12 per hour. Starts January 2010.         




WEST DES MOINES FAMILY NEW IN TOWN  LOOKING FOR PART TIME NANNY
Elizabeth is going to be 3 years old in November. She is energetic, curious, tends to be shy in new situations and with new people. Isla is 9 months old. She is very easy going,  and easy to please. She enjoys watching her sister and loves attention!  Both parents are professionals and are from the Iowa City area originally. They are laid back and try to keep to a routine but allow flexibility as needed. They enjoy the zoo, parks, and playing outside. They have two cats who are part of the family as well. The hours are Tuesday and Wednesday's 7;30 - 5:30 weekly. Possibility of other days as needed for a few hours, if the nanny was available and open to extra hours. Salary range would be $12-15 per hour (would guarantee a weekly amount of hours with candidate). Start date is as soon as possible.
