Job Description

  • Investigate, plan and implement the more complex improvements in products and manufacturing processes that directly effect safety, quality and productivity to produce a better quality product more efficiently.
  • Lead cross-functional teams.  Provide technical expertise and leadership in the planning and implementation of projects to develop, install and qualify new processes for manufacturing new products or improving existing processes.
  • Investigate and qualify material changes.
  • Gather, track and analyze production data for business plans, etc.




 

Job Requirements 

  • B.S. degree in Engineering  (Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical or Biomedical).
  • Medical Device Experience a MUST!  Knowledge of GMP/FDA regulations.
  • Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing and Solidworks training are highly desirable!
  • 8 - 10 years of increasing Engineering responsibility.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment for designing, specifying, fabricating, assembling and validating manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of statistical techniques, FDA process validations.
  • Successful experience leading project work.
  • Thorough knowledge of electronic equipment and tools in laboratory testing, inspection system, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical circuits.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, formal and informal.
  • Team Player
