Information Assurance (IA) Analyst
We are immediately hiring a an Information Assurance Analyst for our client in Alexandria, VA. This is a direct, full time position with our company, working onsite with our Federal client.

Position Summary:
The Information Assurance (IA) Analyst position is responsible for providing IA support for a wed-based enterprise solution used throughout the National Guard. Specifically, the IA Analyst is responsible for coordinating all elements of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process, Security Planning, System Test and Evaluation, vulnerability analysis and development and updating of the System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA) and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation. The IA Analyst is also responsible for maintaining detailed documents on the configuration of both the hardware and software associated with the software application. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge working with the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and experience working in a military environment.
Essential Duties:
· Provide Information Assurance (IA) support for a wed-based, enterprise application.
· Coordinate all elements of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process, Security Planning, System Test and Evaluation, vulnerability analysis and development and updating of system dedicated System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA) certification documentation.
· Collaborate with key stakeholders, software development teams, and client representatives, to support the C&A process.
· Maintain detailed documents on the configuration of both the hardware and software associated with the web-based solution.
Requirements
Education, Experience & Skills:
· At least 5 years of specialized experience in the areas of system accreditation, vulnerability assessments, certification and accreditation (C&A) processes, or other related disciplines.
· Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Security, or Computer Science is required. Masters Degree in related discipline is preferred.
· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required.
· Must have an in-depth working knowledge of the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Program (DIACAP) process requirements, processes and methodologies.
· Must be experienced in the application of IA principles in both operations and systems development environments.
· Must be familiar with hardware and software configuration concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Specific understanding of configuration management practices and procedures, and networks and servers.
· Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Active SECRET security clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance required
