Operations Manager

Critical Infrastructure and Force Protection Army Operations Manager responsible for C-RAM and IBDSoS fielding and support activities. C-RAM and IBDSoS are dynamic programs involving the integration of multiple engineering disciplines in order to deploy and support primarily COTS products at Forward Operating Bases in Iraq, nearby countries and U.S.-based training centers. The programs are capability-based such that the identification and selection of new product capabilities for inclusion in the overall architecture is an on-going process.

Selected candidate will be responsible for the following: providing objective-oriented direction to subordinate managers utilizing program objectives, senior-management guidelines & general policies to manage the operations of multiple installation and support teams performing duties in a war zone; planning and management for task order/contract performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a work provided; coordination with other managers performing similar work to optimize the use of the available resources; coordination with engineering, production/procurement and logistics elements to ensure the synchronization of design, material procurement/production, delivery and post-installation support at each site; and, identification and maturation of new capabilities and/or opportunities which will facilitate greater synergy for the overall contract performance.

 

Requirements:
• BS + 14 yrs Exp.
• Must have strong knowledge of military operations and procedures.
• Must have strong project management background: alignment of schedules, requirements and resource management to achieve contract deliverables
• Must possess a security clearance

Experience in the following areas is an asset:
• Familiarity with C-RAM, TASS, FAAD, AMDWS, or other military C2 systems
• Ability to interface with senior staff, both corporate and customer
• Prior military service in a war zone as a mid to senior field grade officer or senior NCO
