RHW Hotels, a national hotel management company with hotels located in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Arizona, is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to assist in providing leadership and management at our Courtyard by Marriott/Kansas City in Shawnee.  As Assistant General Manager, you will ensure smooth operations of the hotel by scheduling and overseeing hotel staff; having direct responsibility for Front Desk and Hospitality staff.  In addition, you will oversee the accounting/bookkeeping function and above all, will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction is first and foremost maintained in accordance with Marriott standards.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years experience in a hotel or similar field as a front office manager or supervisor.  Qualified candidates will have at least a high school diploma, computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products and well developed skills in both verbal communication and business correspondence writing.  Key to success will be your pleasant, positive demeanor, your ability to effectively interact with guests, and your ability to lead and motivate staff.  You will be the foundation of, and model for, a fun, positive, and optimistic leadership team focused on maximizing guest satisfaction and financial return.
