The Network Services Manager is responsible for project managing various network and telecommunication services provisioning initiatives in support of an AT&T Government Solutions (NIS) professional services contract.
Job responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: initiating requests for service for various AT&T and non-AT&T services (e.g. voice, private line service, IP, Internet Data Center, internet services, network co-location services, hosting, etc.), generating customer cost estimates for requested services, managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing and maintaining network service documentation and coordinating and in some cases producing "high level" network diagrams (using Visio). The Network Services Manager will be required to interface with various groups across the corporation, outside vendor organizations and internal program and customer groups to meet program / project objectives and will be responsible for the preparation of bi-weekly, and or monthly customer deliverable reports. Some domestic travel to AT&T locations will be required. Knowledge of AT&T Customer Care & Provisioning Systems is desired (e.g. POCITS, Basic 8, Order Taker, SR Tracker, Business Direct, Adopt Hosting, SOTS, CBS, EFMS, and Offer Information Library (OIL), TIRKS, FEDI, etc.). Familiarity with Telecommunications & LAN/WAN terminology (e.g. IP Addressing, Cross Connects, D-MARC and Tie Down information) also desired. This position also has a accounts payable function whereby the candidate would review network and telecommunication services invoice, apply the appropriate charge program code and authorize payment. The candidate will need to maintain purchase and billing records associated with services acquired. This position could also include supervision and or oversight of junior program personnel involved with telecommunication services ordering and bill payment.
Position will be located in Oakton, VA, but may be required to attend meetings or otherwise work occasionally at various locations including Government locations in the Washington Metro Area. Candidates must be a US Citizen and must have at least US Govt. Top Secret security clearance with SCI accesses. Clearance with full scope polygraph preferable. Candidates without Full Scope Polygraph by the time they start, must be willing to be submitted for one.
