Job Description
- Responsibilities will be performed at various Army Reserve facilities within the AOR
- RMTs will perform routine system preventive maintenance service, as well as emergency service.
- The Technicians will perform annual preventative maintenance per manufacturer’s recommendation on all existing EECS (access control; CCTV) equipment located at each facility.
- Provide system performance analysis of the IDS operational platform.
- Field equipment replacement as needed by direction of the Army Reserve Program Manager (ARPM).
- Perform semi-annual preventative maintenance inspections for all field equipment, as required in AR 190-11.
- Provide 24 hour per day, 7 days per week emergency service capability, with 24-hour coordination and support from Advantor Technical Support Center.
- Provide routine updates to the existing EECS software consistent with their purchased system configurations.
- Provide informal end-user system operational instructions and support in conjunction with maintenance or service visits to the site.
- Provide required daily and monthly performance reporting.
- Provide required monthly vehicle & equipment reporting.
Requirements
- Three years experience in the security installation and service industry, or one year experience and a two year technical electronics education, with emphasis on both digital and analog circuits
- Sound working knowledge of the PC computer platform and Windows operating system environment.
- Strong technical skills related to the installation, repair, and servicing of security systems equipment, including: intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, WSTI, and related equipment.
- Ability to discern color coded wiring and components
- Proficient in reading and writing English language
- Working knowledge of low voltage circuitry.
- Problem solver; able to engage in proactive behavior and look for opportunities to solve problems.
- Basic administrative skills such as typing, faxing, scanning, copying, email (Microsoft Outlook), and phone etiquette.
- Experience using power tools. Must have “basic" tool kit. Specialty tools to be provided by company.
- Excellent driving record
- Ability to pass Access National Agency Check with Inquiry (ANACI)
- Currently hold or ability to obtain security clearance
