Job Description 

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the activity programs of this facility.
  • Participate in discharge planning, development and implemenation of activity care plans and resident assessments.
  • Serve on, participate in and attend varios committees of the facility (CQI,Care Plan Meeting, Department Head Meeting
  • Prepare and project annual budget, track expenditures compared to budget on a monthly basis
 


Job Requirements 

  • Activity certification, or four year college degree in Theruapetic Recreation
  • Knowledge of how to develop newsletters, compose memos, and direct correspondence to keep employess informed of new company development and events.
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Activity Director Certification or degree in Therapuetic Recreation
  • Must be familiar with documentation requirements for Long Term Care.
  • Must possess leadership ability and motivational skills for effective communication and program develop with staff and residents.
