Job Description 

Network Infrastructure Engineer

 

*Job Description: 

Client in Lafayette, IN has an immediate need for a Network Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.  Client is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to support all devices and cabling associated with its building networks and district wide area network.  The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor degree in a technology related field, 4 or more years of full time network infrastructure support experience and a CCNA or NCSS/NCDS certification.  Extensive knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, and all associated protocols is mandatory. 

Client is a Nortel shop on networking side and with VoIP as well.  Server environment: originally had 100 physical servers but have since virtualized 2/3 of the servers.  HP Blades on hardware platform site. Use VMWare for virtualization.

 

 

 


Job Requirements 

Candidate must have their CCNA certification as well as their Associate's Degree
