Description
BTG Americas Inc., a successful International Company that develops, manufactures and markets specialized process control solutions and surface treatment applications for the pulp and paper industry is seeking a proven professional to fill our need for a Sales Engineer.
The responsibilities will be to manage existing accounts and develop new business.
The Sales Engineer is required to achieve maximum sales in his/her designated territory by providing products and services to potential and existing customers that establish BTG Americas Inc. as the leading supplier of solutions to the paper industry. The Sales Engineer’s expert knowledge will be founded in one or more of BTG’s core process strengths: wet end optimization, paper machine runnability, coated papers or tissue process.
This position will include regional sales coverage of the South and surrounding areas.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in sales preferred.
- Previous experience in the pulp and paper industry required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize and work independently
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 75%
- Excellent computer skills, strong knowledge of MS Office
