LVN’s – full time and PRN – 3-11 shift!

 

Heritage Place Mesquite, a 148 bed long term care center of excellence is searching for caring and committed LVNs to join our quality caring team – hiring for 3-11 shift – full time, and PRN

Unlike nursing in other settings, long term care provides the opportunity to practice truly holistic nursing care while fostering a lasting connection between nurses, patients, and their families. Our interdisciplinary approach to care delivery puts your nursing abilities to work in many areas.

 

Responsibilities: (summary)

Works under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Company Standards, Practice Guidelines and nursing judgment.

Delivers nursing care to patients requiring long term care

Collects patient data, makes observations and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient.

According to state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high quality care to residents in the care of Heritage Place Mesquite

Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a LVN in the state of Texas

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language

Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.

Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.

Must be CPR certified
