My client, a multimillion dollar public company, is searching for a Finance Manager:

Position Description

The Finance manager is accountable for managing the direction and planning of departmental operations and projects including the day to day administration of assignments.  This includes, budgeting, forecasting, planning, analysis and reporting to senior leadership.  The finance manager also plays an integral role in recommending, implementing and managing the financial process.

• Identifying opportunities to reduce costs through more effective management.
• Handling the budgeting, forecasting and monthly and quarterly close process.
• Performing complex data manipulation and analysis.
• Delivering presentations/agreements to the controller and other executives.
• Developing and managing business plans to achieve objectives.
• Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, product, and/or approaches.
• Develops pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends.

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY PLEASE

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of significant professional finance or accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in PC financial systems and MS suite.
• A solid background in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Ability to anticipate accounting, financial reporting and operational issues, assess their implications, and determine a practical solution.
• Advanced analytical skills and data mining.
• CPA/MBA preferred.
• Experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role is valued.
