Description

  • Preparation prior to store opening
  • Must follow policies put forth in regard to professional dress code
  • Study individual sales reports and data relative to sales performance in order to obtain goals that have been set forth
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls, send thank-you cards from previous day’s purchases along with any marketing promotions that need to be sent out
  • Conduct role-playing scenarios with team members in order to improve skills on product knowledge, sales techniques, and design methods
  • Responsible for the sale of furniture, mattresses, accessories, as well as services, to the consumer by working in a team environment that provides outstanding customer service and a culture that is in alignment with Ashley’s value proposition.
  • Must follow the procedures set forth by Ashley HomeStores LTD in the 7-step selling process
  • Must work within a team environment to ensure that every customer feels welcomed, informed, and fearless in their purchasing decision
  • Must attend educational courses and certification courses that have been put forth by the organization and be personally conscious of continuous self-education and development.  Assist with mentoring other employees and providing back-up 
  • Must attend team meetings and individual one-on-one coaching sessions with Sales Manager, Trainers, and/or Store Manager
  • Must be willing to assist Customer Service Associates in working with consumers that may have questions relative to product and/or services
  • Must maintain reliable attendance and adhere to work schedule
  • Must perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations 
  • Complete other assignments and special projects as requested
